Necessary Digression

Necessary Digression is an itinerant, international performance collective based in New York State. Described as 'a constellation of artists,' the collective cultivates and curates intentional and accidental performative experiences that invite audiences to wrestle with difficult and inspiring material through live theatre and performance in both traditional and unexpected environments. The collective mines the contradictions of human experience through physical expression and is committed to inclusivity, community, and supporting the development of artists and their work. It also operates an InCubator program and offers Studios and Classes.
