NBC News Studios is the documentary and scripted production arm of NBC News, launched in January 2020 as a full-service in-house production company within NBCUniversal. Specializing in premium documentary storytelling — as well as select scripted programming — it partners with premier independent filmmakers and leverages NBC's eight decades of television and radio archives, global journalist network, and world-class investigative resources. The studio produces content for NBCUniversal's broadcast networks, MSNBC, and the Peacock streaming platform, and has earned multiple Emmy, Peabody, and DuPont awards for its work.
