Naked Edge Films

Naked Edge Films is a Boulder, Colorado-based independent documentary production company founded in 2009 by Jim Butterworth and Daniel Chalfen to support entrepreneurial filmmakers in making high-quality documentaries on pressing social issues worldwide. The company produces, executive produces, and consults on documentary films, series, and IP-based scripted content. Its portfolio of more than thirty films has earned an Academy Award, two Alfred I. duPont Silver Batons, a Peabody Award, and six Emmy nominations, with work appearing on Netflix, PBS, and at major festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, and SXSW.
