MilkBoy the Studio is Philadelphia's premier recording studio and entertainment company, founded in 1994 by Tommy Joyner and later co-owned with composer/director Jamie Lokoff. Operating from a multi-room facility at 413–421 N. 7th Street in Philadelphia, MilkBoy has worked with artists ranging from James Taylor and The Roots to Miley Cyrus, Lil Uzi Vert, and Zach Bryan. Beyond music recording, MilkBoy encompasses MilkBoy Entertainment (film production, responsible for the IFC-distributed indie comedy *Slow Learners*), Shake Audio Post (post-production audio for film, TV, and broadcast), and MilkBoy Philly (a Center City live music venue and restaurant).
