MGM Alternative is a multiple Emmy-winning division of Amazon MGM Studios and a leading producer and global distributor of premium unscripted content and formats for television and digital platforms. The division is responsible for major long-running franchises including Survivor (CBS), The Voice (NBC), Shark Tank (ABC), Beat Shazam (FOX), and the Gladiators franchise, and also owns subsidiary production labels Big Fish Entertainment and Evolution Media. Formally integrated into Amazon MGM Studios in September 2025, the unit now reports through Head of Unscripted & Documentary Television Jenn Levy to Head of Global Television Peter Friedlander, with day-to-day creative leadership held by SVP Kitty Gambel and Lucilla D'Agostino.
