Mediacorp Pte. Ltd. is Singapore's state-owned national media network and largest content creator, wholly owned by Temasek Holdings. It holds a monopoly on terrestrial television in Singapore, operating six free-to-air TV channels (Channel 5, Channel 8, Channel U, Suria, Vasantham, and CNA) and eleven FM radio stations across four languages (English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil), alongside digital platforms including meWATCH, meLISTEN, and CNA.asia. With roots tracing back to the first Singapore radio broadcast in 1936 and television in 1963, Mediacorp reaches over three million people daily in Singapore and also serves a growing international audience through CNA and regional co-productions. The company is Singapore's largest content creator and has been recognised with multiple industry awards including New York Festivals, World Media Festivals, and the Asian Academy Creative Awards.
