Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC)

The Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) is a national movement founded in 2012 that uses a commons-based approach to transform the narrative of American theatre, amplify the visibility of Latinx performance making, and champion equity through advocacy, art making, convening, and scholarship. Originally a flagship program of HowlRound Theatre Commons from 2012–2025, the LTC transitioned to fully independent operations on July 1, 2025, with Producer Hub as its fiscal sponsor. The organization is governed by a volunteer Steering Committee of Latinx theatremakers and scholars from across the country, operating with a horizontal rather than vertical power structure.
