Kingdom Story Company is an American independent film and television studio founded on March 26, 2019, operating in exclusive partnership with Lionsgate and specializing in faith-based, Christian, and inspirational feature films. Co-founded by the Erwin Brothers (Jon and Andrew Erwin), Kevin Downes, and Tony Young, the company was seeded by profits from I Can Only Imagine (2018), which grossed over $83 million domestically on a $7 million budget. Their theatrical slate includes Jesus Revolution, American Underdog, Ordinary Angels, Unsung Hero, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The Unbreakable Boy, and I Can Only Imagine 2, with the company producing approximately two faith-based films per year for wide theatrical release through Lionsgate. In November 2024, Lionsgate and Kingdom Story Company renewed their first-look deal for a third three-year term, extending their collaboration to a full decade.
