Insolence Productions

Insolence Productions is an independent French production company founded in 2012 by Anaïs Bertrand, based in Paris (7th arrondissement). It specializes in bold, arthouse, and genre cinema — including independent, regional, and socially conscious films — championing emerging talent across features, short films, and series. The company won the César 2024 for Best First Film with 'Chien de la Casse' (dir. Jean-Baptiste Durand), and its films regularly screen at major international festivals. Its editorial identity centers on supporting directors over the long term, from development through production and international co-production.
