Homemade Films

Homemade Films is an Athens-based film production and distribution company founded in 2009 by producer Maria Drandaki. The company produces and co-produces short and feature films with a taste for sharp, cutting-edge, innovative cinema, working with European and international partners. Its films have screened in competition at major festivals including Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Locarno, and Toronto, and have received recognition from the European Film Academy, BAFTA, the Gotham Awards, and the LUX Audience Award. In 2022 the company was granted support from Creative Europe – Media Slate Funding and is a member of the EAVE and ACE producers' networks.
