Hivemind is a U.S.-based film and television production company founded in 2018 by former Universal Studios president Sean Daniel and longtime producing partner Jason F. Brown, later joined by Bad Robot veteran Kathy Lingg. The company specializes in high-profile genre storytelling — spanning science fiction, fantasy, and horror — across television, film, and digital media. Its projects include Netflix's The Witcher franchise, all six seasons of Amazon's The Expanse, Peacock's The Best Man: The Final Chapters, and the feature film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. Originally launched under the name Mythos, Hivemind has established itself as a leading independent genre production company with major streamer partnerships.
