Harlem Presents

Harlem Presents (incorporated as Harlem Presents Inc) is a New York City-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free cultural entertainment to the Harlem community. Founded no later than 2011, it produces and presents a portfolio of recurring free public events including HarlemWeen (annual Halloween festival), the Harlem Hoedown (square dance festival), the Harlem Opera Festival (showcasing emerging opera singers of color), the Harlem Scary Movie Festival, and the Harlem Musical Theater Festival. Events are typically held at landmark public outdoor venues in Harlem, including the plaza of the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building, Marcus Garvey Park, and Jackie Robinson Park.
