Glassriver

Glassriver is Iceland's leading film and television production company, founded in 2016 by director Baldvin Z, writer Andri Óttarsson, and producer Arnbjörg Hafliðadóttir following their work on Case, Iceland's first Netflix Original Series. The company has been responsible for over half of all scripted television series produced in Iceland in recent years, and works exclusively through international co-productions with partners across Europe and beyond. Their work spans award-winning crime dramas, thrillers, comedies, documentaries, and non-scripted formats, with series distributed by All3Media, Mediawan, Federation, Lionsgate, and Eccho Rights; in 2025 the company launched a dedicated film division led by Baldvin Z.
