About

Gary Hoffman Productions is a Malibu-based television production company founded and led by producer, writer, and director Gary Hoffman. The company is best known for producing over 30 movies and miniseries for television, including the critically acclaimed 'Bastard Out of Carolina' for TNT — the only made-for-TV movie ever invited to compete at Cannes, which also won the Television Critics Award for Best Movie/Miniseries. Hoffman deficit-financed approximately half of his productions, and five of his thirty projects received Best Picture/Best Miniseries nominations.
