Film I Vast

Film i Väst is Scandinavia's leading regional film fund and co-producer, headquartered in Trollhättan, Sweden ('Trollywood'), and wholly owned by Västra Götalandsregionen. Founded in 1992, it has co-produced over 1,600 Swedish and international feature films, drama series, documentaries, and short formats. The organization is known internationally for co-productions with acclaimed directors such as Lars von Trier, Ruben Östlund, and Thomas Vinterberg, accumulating 18 Oscar nominations and 18 Palme d'Or nominations since 2017. It also operates Studio Fares, the largest purpose-built soundstage in Scandinavia.
