Faros Film

Faros Film (S.r.l.) is a Rome-based Italian film production company, registered at Via Ostiense 58, that functions as the dedicated production banner for acclaimed Turkish-Italian director Ferzan Özpetek. The company has co-produced all of Özpetek's Italian features since 2007, partnering on titles with Warner Bros. Entertainment Italia, R&C Produzioni, Greenboo Production, and Netflix, among others. Its slate spans festival-celebrated and commercially successful titles including Diamanti (2024) — which became the director's biggest Italian box office success, winning the David di Donatello Audience Award and the Nastro d'Argento for Film of the Year — as well as Nuovo Olimpo (2023, Netflix), The Goddess of Fortune (2019), Naples in Veils (2017), Fasten Your Seatbelts (2014), and Magnificent Presence (2012). As of July 2026, Faros Film is in production on an untitled international biographical series about Giorgio Armani for Lux Vide/Fremantle, again directed by Özpetek.
