About

ECAM Incubator (La Incubadora) is a prestigious feature film development and producer mentorship program launched in 2018 by ECAM — the Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid (Madrid Film School) — as part of its ECAM Industria / The Screen industry initiative. Each annual edition selects five feature film projects by emerging Spanish-based writers, directors, and producers, providing each team with a €10,000 development grant, six months of mentorship with top industry experts (in scriptwriting, production, financing, distribution, festivals, marketing, and sales), and access to international co-production showcases such as Cannes' Focus CoPro. Hailed as one of the most successful talent development schemes in Spain, its alumni projects have garnered Goya Award nominations and selections at Venice, Berlin, Rotterdam, San Sebastián, Sundance, and TIFF.
