E4

E4 is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation, launched on 18 January 2001. The 'E' stands for entertainment, and the channel primarily targets the 16–34 age group with a mix of original British programming, imported US series, and reality/dating formats. Its flagship programmes include Married at First Sight UK, Hollyoaks, Made in Chelsea, and The Simpsons (from January 2025), and its most-watched broadcast remains a 2010 episode of The Inbetweeners with over 3.7 million viewers. E4 is part of the Channel 4 family of channels, which also includes E4 Extra, More4, Film4, 4seven, and the main Channel 4.
