E! Entertainment Television is an American basic cable and satellite television network owned by Versant (formerly a division of NBCUniversal/Comcast), launched in 1987 as Movietime before rebranding to E! in 1990. The network specializes in celebrity news, pop culture, reality television, award show coverage, and entertainment programming, and is well known for franchises such as 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,' 'Botched,' and 'House of Villains.' As of 2025–2026, E! is part of Versant, the newly spun-off cable entity led by CEO Mark Lazarus, alongside sister networks USA Network, Syfy, Oxygen, and CNBC.
