Dragon Studios

Dragon Studios is South Wales' premier 100-acre film and television production facility, located in Pencoed, Bridgend, approximately 20 minutes from Cardiff. The complex features five state-of-the-art soundstages ranging from 10,000 to 28,000 sq ft, alongside 100,000 sq ft of support space including production offices, workshops, and post-production hubs. Acquired by Shadow Holdings in February 2019 and transformed by Managing Director Gethyn Mills, Dragon Studios has hosted major productions from NBC Universal, Netflix, Disney, and Lucasfilm, including Willow, Brave New World, Havoc, and Keeping Faith. The studio operates on 100% renewable electricity and holds Albert accreditation for sustainable production.
