Curzon CM Fund

The Curzon CM Development Fund (CCM) is a joint venture between UK distributor Curzon, Benelux distributor Cinéart, and Australian distributor Madman Entertainment, launched in February 2020 with an initial £1.2 million ($1.6M USD) fund to support director-led independent film projects from development through to distribution. Run out of Curzon's London office and led by producer Kristian Brodie, the fund backs a slate of filmmaker-driven projects at all stages of development and holds first-look distribution rights in its three partner territories. Notable projects supported include Swimming Home, Sweet Maddie Stone, and The Ballad of a Small Player (directed by Edward Berger), and the fund continues to expand its remit to include arthouse, genre, and commercially oriented titles.
