Curio Pictures (formerly Playmaker Media) is an Australian TV and film production company launched in February 2022 under Managing Director Jo Porter and Creative Director Rachel Gardner, following a rebrand from Playmaker Media. The company develops and produces scripted and unscripted television programs for premium local and international commissioning platforms, combining the nimbleness of an independent with the global backing of its parent company, Sony Pictures Television. Notable productions include The Narrow Road to the Deep North (Amazon Prime Video), The Artful Dodger (Disney+/Hulu), Playing Gracie Darling (Paramount+/Netflix US), and High Country (Foxtel/BBC1).
