Columbus Association for the Performing Arts

The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) is a non-profit arts organization and award-winning performing arts presenter and theatre management company based in Columbus, Ohio, founded in 1969. CAPA owns and operates several historic downtown Columbus theatres including the Ohio Theatre, Palace Theatre, and Southern Theatre, and manages the Riffe Center Theatre Complex, Lincoln Theatre, McCoy Center, and Drexel Theatre, as well as the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. It presents national and international touring productions, supports over a dozen resident arts groups, and runs extensive education and community engagement programs. CAPA has achieved international recognition for the dramatic restoration of historic theatres and excellence in facility management.
