Cognetti Films is an independent American horror production company founded in 2014 by filmmaker Stephen Cognetti, who serves as its sole creator, writer, and director. The company is best known for producing the Hell House LLC franchise — a five-film found-footage horror series distributed through Shudder and Terror Films — as well as the 2025 supernatural horror film 825 Forest Road. Operating as a micro-studio, Cognetti Films focuses on low-budget independent horror with a recurring core cast and crew, and has built a devoted genre audience primarily through streaming platforms. In April 2024, Cognetti signed with Anonymous Content for wider industry representation.
