Ciné+ (now branded Ciné+ OCS following a July 2024 merger with OCS) is a group of French thematic pay television channels operated by Canal+ Thématiques, a subsidiary of Canal+ S.A., and distributed via satellite, cable, and IPTV. Originally launched in 1991 and dedicated exclusively to film programming, the brand expanded to include television series after absorbing OCS, adding HBO and Warner catalog content to its library of French and international cinema. As Ciné+ OCS, the service offers six specialty linear channels (Premier, Frisson, Émotion, Famiz, Classic, Club) plus an on-demand catalog of approximately 4,000 movies accessible via the myCanal platform, and is also available as a standalone subscription add-on on services like Amazon Prime Video.
