CBC Gem is the official over-the-top (OTT) digital video streaming service of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), launched on December 11, 2018, replacing the existing CBC TV app. It offers a free ad-supported tier and a Premium tier ($4.99/month) providing ad-free on-demand viewing, live access to CBC News Network, and early access to select programming — all exclusively available within Canada. The platform streams CBC originals, documentaries, news, sports, kids programming, and international acquisitions, and carries live feeds from up to 14 regional CBC TV channels. Notable titles include Schitt's Creek, Murdoch Mysteries, The Great British Baking Show, and Ghosts.
