BET Studios

BET Studios is the television and film production studio division of BET, operating as a label within CBS Studios under Paramount (a Skydance Corporation). Launched on September 15, 2021, it is a Black-operated studio designed to provide Black creators with creative freedom and equity ownership in their content. Led by EVP/Head of Creative Aisha Summers-Burke, the studio produces premium scripted content for BET, BET+, and other platforms, and has established deals with high-profile creators including Kenya Barris, Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, Aaron Rahsaan Thomas, and Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry.
