Bell Fund

The Bell Fund (formerly the Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund) is a Canadian not-for-profit independent production fund, certified by the CRTC to receive and administer contributions from broadcast distribution undertakings and online streaming services. Founded in 1997, it has received over $300 million from Bell TV (BCE Inc.) to support Canadian independent producers in developing and producing high-quality television series, short-form digital series, and development slates. Operating offices in both Toronto and Montreal, the Fund prioritizes projects from Indigenous creators and equity-deserving communities and is committed to supporting a more equitable, diverse, inclusive, and accessible Canadian screen industry.
