Beach Road Pictures is an independent Australian production company co-founded in 2021 by multi-award-winning scripted drama producers David Maher and David Taylor, who previously spent 11 years at the helm of Playmaker Media producing over 200 hours of acclaimed drama. The company focuses on artistically ambitious scripted projects for premium global content platforms. Its flagship productions include the period drama The Artful Dodger (co-produced with Sony Pictures Television's Curio Pictures for Disney+/Hulu) and the crime thriller North Shore (co-produced with ITV Studios for Paramount+ and Network 10). The Artful Dodger was renewed for a second series premiering in February 2026, with a third series renewal confirmed in August 2026.
