Ascendant Fox

Ascendant Fox is a London-based independent film and television production company co-founded in 2021/2022 by producers Hester Ruoff (formerly of Burton Fox Films) and Bart Ruspoli (formerly of Ascendant Films), formed following the critically acclaimed BAFTA and BIFA-nominated single-take feature Boiling Point. The company aims to create ambitious, genre-pushing films and series rooted in powerful, socially resonant storytelling, with credits including Gassed Up (2024, co-produced with Amazon Studios UK) and the BBC Boiling Point TV series. In 2023, Ascendant Fox secured a first-look development deal with BBC Studios, cementing its position as a rising force in British independent production.
