APA Agency (Los Angeles)

Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) was one of the largest privately owned, diversified talent agencies in the United States, founded in 1962 in New York by former MCA executives and later headquartered in Beverly Hills. APA represented actors, writers, directors, producers, comedians, musical artists, authors, brands, and intellectual properties across all media platforms including film, television, music, theatre, publishing, and digital. In June 2023, APA merged with music touring powerhouse Artist Group International (AGI) and rebranded as Independent Artist Group (IAG), combining nearly 95 years of combined agency experience under one independent banner with offices in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Atlanta, Toronto, and London.
