About

Alfresco Pictures is a Los Angeles-based scripted television and film production company founded in August 2018 by English actor Freddie Highmore (born Alfred Thomas Highmore), with the name being a wordplay on his real first name Alfred. Operating under a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television, the company develops prestige scripted drama for broadcast, cable, streaming platforms, and international co-productions. The company is run day-to-day by Head of Development Claire Londy, who serves as executive producer on all projects. Its credits include the Italian period drama 'Leonardo' (RAI/SPT), 'Chocolate Wars' (BritBox/UKTV/Sony, with Fable Pictures), 'Life on Other Planets' (Sony), and 'Augustine & Edgar' (TF1/Gaumont).
