343 Industries

343 Industries (now officially rebranded as Halo Studios as of October 2024) is an American video game developer based in Redmond, Washington, operating as a division of Xbox Game Studios under Microsoft. Founded in 2007 by Bonnie Ross, the studio was created to steward the Halo sci-fi franchise after original developer Bungie regained its independence from Microsoft. The studio has developed all mainline Halo titles since 2012, including Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Halo Infinite, and is now building future Halo experiences using Unreal Engine 5, with Halo: Campaign Evolved announced for release in 2026.
