About

12:01 Films is a Beverly Hills-based production company founded by producer Scott Glassgold, specializing in identifying, developing, and producing creator-driven IP — primarily short stories adapted into feature films. The company has brokered and produced more than 25 short story deals with major studios including Amazon, Universal, Netflix, Lionsgate, Skydance, 20th Century Studios, and others, establishing itself as a leading force in the short-story-to-film space. In February 2025, 12:01 Films expanded into publishing with the launch of 12:01 Books, a joint venture horror imprint with Atria/Emily Bestler Books (Simon & Schuster). 12:01 Films operates as a sister company to Glassgold's production management company, Ground Control.
