About Queen Sugar:

Queen Sugar is an American drama TV series created, directed and executive produced by Ava DuVernay with Oprah Winfrey serving as executive producer. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Natalie Baszile. The series follows the life of three siblings, who move to Louisiana to claim an inheritance from their recently departed father - an 800-acre sugarcane farm.
