Hallmark’s Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Death in D Minor to Begin Filming in February

Fans of Gethsemane Brown, rejoice! Hallmark is bringing the next chapter of the Haunted Harmony Mysteries franchise to life with Death in D Minor. Directed by Linda-Lisa Hayter and based on Alexia Gordon’s novel of the same name, production is set to begin on February 4 in Dublin, Ireland. Tamera Mowry-Housley will reprise her role as the talented classical musician and amateur sleuth, Gethsemane Brown.

Following the events of Murder in G Major, the story picks up as Gethsemane’s holiday plans are derailed. Her landlord intends to sell her charming cottage to a hotel developer, and her brother-in-law arrives for a visit—only to find himself falsely accused of stealing a valuable antique. Desperate to save her cottage and clear her brother-in-law’s name, Gethsemane strikes a deal with an investigator: she’ll go undercover at a charity ball to gather evidence linking the stolen antiques to a forgery ring. However, the stakes rise when Gethsemane inadvertently summons the ghost of an 18th-century sea captain, and soon after, becomes the prime suspect in the host’s murder. With the captain’s spectral assistance, she races to solve the case, exonerate her brother-in-law, and reclaim her life before time runs out. Linda-Lisa Hayter returns to direct after helming the franchise’s debut installment, Murder in G Major, which introduced audiences to Gethsemane’s world of music, mystery, and supernatural intrigue.
