ABC Discovers 2018 Talent Showcase is Now Looking for Aspiring Writers for Original Scenes

ABC has announced their opportunity for aspiring writers to submit to their 2018 talent showcase for original scenes.

About the Job:

ABC casting is seeking original scene submissions for their upcoming talent 2018 ABC showcase. This one-night event is produced by the ABC casting department to showcase new talent in the industry. The talent showcase offers an opportunity for aspiring writers to show off their skills to some of the industry's biggest executives, producers, and agents.

It was launched in 2012 and since then 50 new writers and 46 original scenes have been selected. Writers that have worked on the show have later written in TV pilots for ABC and have gone on to join Late Night with Seth Meyers.

To apply, applicants must send at most three scenes. Each scene must have a beginning, middle and end and be limited to two characters. The page count for each scene should not exceed six pages.

The deadline is on May 18, 2018, at 11:59pm EST.
