The MRI Guy is an independently produced pilot presentation for a new series, intended for use in pitching streamers and for film festivals. An empathetic MRI manager struggling with a gambling addiction navigates the daily emotional chaos of an outpatient imaging center, where every patient, coworker, and scan forces him to confront the lives he's trying to heal — including his own. The MRI Guy is about ordinary people facing extraordinary moments. Every scan has the potential to change a life. Not only for the patient, but for everyone who comes in contact with them. The interaction is short and the appointment ends, but the stories and lessons can last a lifetime. Filming on weekends only for a total of 8 days, beginning September 12–13, 2026, in the New York area.
