Project Summary
In Anne-Lise's troubled life, her job as a struggling birthday presenter, growing loneliness, and her ex-husband's blissful new marriage weigh her down. Her solace is her 13-year-old daughter, Tycia, for whom she fights to maintain custody and instill values like respect, empathy, and tenacity. Everything changes when her father, Simon, a funeral director in a distant town, passes away. Although estranged, he leaves her an unexpected legacy: the family business. Anne-Lise faces a dilemma - could this be her salvation or the start of new challenges?
