Sara Murphy is an Academy Award-winning American film and music video producer, known for her long-standing collaboration with Paul Thomas Anderson and Barry Jenkins. She grew up in Crested Butte, Colorado, and began her career as Philip Seymour Hoffman's assistant before transitioning into producing. Her credits include If Beale Street Could Talk, Licorice Pizza, Never Rarely Sometimes Always, and One Battle After Another, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 98th Oscars in 2026. In 2022, she co-founded the production company Fat City with Ryan Zacarias, which holds a first-look deal with Anonymous Content's AC Studios.
