Ryan Bobkin is a Toronto-based Canadian independent film producer specializing in auteur-driven, socially impactful cinema and international co-production. He is the founder of Bobkin & Sons and a key producer at Nine Behind Productions, best known for producing Blue Heron (Locarno 2025 Swatch First Feature Award winner; Canadian Screen Award nominee for Best Picture, 2026), directed by Sophy Romvari and distributed by Janus Films in the US. A Sundance Institute 2025 Producers Lab fellow, Playback '10 to Watch' (2022) alumnus, and CMPA Indiescreen Award nominee, he previously served as Head of Development at Film Forge, where he worked alongside Brandon Cronenberg on Infinity Pool.
