Ronna Kress is a veteran Hollywood casting director with over 100 credits across major studio films and television, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and trained at Boston University (CFA '81). She is a CSA Artios Award winner (for Moulin Rouge!, 2002) and seven-time nominee, an AMPAS member (invited 2008), and a long-running collaborator with director Baz Luhrmann on films including Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, and the upcoming Jehanne d'Arc at Warner Bros. After serving as EVP of Casting at 20th Century Fox Film from 2016 to early 2020, she returned to running her independent company, Ronna Kress Casting, based in Beverly Hills.
