Richard Switzer (born August 6, 1995, Queens, New York) is an American independent film producer and director specializing in the packaging, financing, and monetization of independent films. Profiled on Entertainment Tonight at age 18 as a freshman at the School of Visual Arts, he produced his first Lifetime TV film 'A Fatal Obsession' with an all-student crew. He has since produced and executive produced over 80 films featuring stars such as Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Kelsey Grammer. He is the founder and CEO of Switzer Entertainment Group and is associated with Dawns Light Media.
