Rene Haynes is a CSA-affiliated casting director and founder of Rene Haynes Casting, widely recognized as one of the foremost experts in Native American and First Nations casting in the entertainment industry. She has cast major studio productions including Martin Scorsese's 'Killers of the Flower Moon' (2023), the AMC series 'Dark Winds,' Hulu's 'Prey,' and 'The Revenant,' and has collaborated with directors including Steven Spielberg, Terrence Malick, and Alejandro González Iñárritu. A two-time Emmy nominee for 'Into the West' and 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee,' she also received the Artios Award for excellence in casting and conducts international Indigenous talent searches across North America and beyond. She is also moving toward producing and is a dedicated mentor through SAG-AFTRA's Diversity workshops.
