Pierre Guyard is a French film producer born on 18 March 1980. After studying economics, he graduated from La Fémis (department of distribution) in 2005 and joined Nord-Ouest Films, eventually becoming its third associate producer in 2016 alongside Christophe Rossignon and Philip Boëffard. His first solo production, Les Combattants (Love at First Fight, 2014) by Thomas Cailley, won the César for Best First Film; his subsequent credits include Amanda (2018), Les Passagers de la nuit (2022), and Le Règne animal / The Animal Kingdom (2023), which opened Un Certain Regard at Cannes 2023. He is also the founder and gérant of his own production banner, La Banquise Films, based in Paris, and a member of the gender-equity collective 50/50.
