About
Paul Trijbits is a Dutch-born, London-based film and television producer with a career spanning over 35 years. He served as Head of the UK Film Council's New Cinema Fund (2000–2006), supporting landmark films such as Bloody Sunday (Golden Bear, Berlin 2002) and The Wind That Shakes the Barley (Palme d'Or, Cannes 2006), before becoming Managing Director of Ruby Films (2007–2012) and co-founding FilmWave (2012–2023). His producer credits include Disney's Saving Mr. Banks (BAFTA/Golden Globe-nominated), John Carney's Sing Street, Cary Fukunaga's Jane Eyre, and Netflix's The Letter for the King. Since 2023, he has served as CEO of Magical Society UK, a joint venture with Paris-based Magical Society (Joann Sfar and Aton Soumache), whose debut BBC One commission Virdee aired in 2025.
