Paul Schiff is an American film and television producer with over four decades of experience spanning independent and mainstream cinema. Raised in Bethesda, Maryland, he is a film studies graduate of Wesleyan University (class of 1981) and began his career as a documentary cameraman before spending four years directing for MTV, which led to a mentorship with film executive Joe Roth and a series of production deals at Morgan Creek Productions, 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Pictures, and Revolution Studios. The founder and President of Paul Schiff Productions, his credits range from Young Guns and My Cousin Vinny to Rushmore, Maid in Manhattan, Mona Lisa Smile, Fractured, Awake, and Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber; he is currently executive producing Netflix's Las Vegas casino drama The Roman — created by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, starring Oscar Isaac, and executive produced by Martin Scorsese — through his partnership with Koppelman and Levien via their banner Best Available, with production scheduled to begin July 2026.
