About
Pamela Koffler is an American film and television producer and co-founding partner of Killer Films, the acclaimed New York-based independent production company she has led alongside Christine Vachon since 1995. Over three decades she has produced nearly 150 film and television credits including Boys Don't Cry, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Still Alice, Carol, The Velvet Underground, Past Lives, and May December. Past Lives earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture at the 96th Oscars (2024), and in June 2026, she and Vachon were named recipients of the AMPAS Irving G. Thalberg Award — to be presented November 15, 2026 — making them the first female creative producing team and first indie/art-house producers to receive that honor. She also serves as faculty in the MFA in Film program at Stony Brook University.
