Michael Frislev is Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of Nomadic Pictures, the Calgary, Alberta-based Canadian production company he co-founded with Chad Oakes in 1995. Together, they have developed, financed, and produced over 97 television and film projects worth a combined $1.5 billion in production, making Nomadic one of the most active production companies in North America. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Motion Picture Production from Ryerson University and has served on the AMPIA board and the Industrial Relations committee for the CMPA for over 10 years. Notable productions include Fargo (FX/MGM), Hell on Wheels (AMC), Broken Trail (AMC), Van Helsing (Syfy/Netflix), House of David (Amazon/Wonder Project), and My Life with the Walter Boys (Netflix).
