Nomadic Pictures

Nomadic Pictures is a Calgary, Alberta-based Canadian production company founded in 1995 by Chad Oakes and Mike Frislev, focused on developing, financing, and producing features, movies-of-the-week, mini-series, and television series. The company has produced, financed, and/or co-financed over 97 film and television projects worth a combined $1.5 billion in production, making it one of the most active production companies in North America. Nomadic is known for award-winning productions including AMC's Broken Trail, FX/MGM's Fargo (Emmy, Golden Globe, and Producers Guild Award winner), Hell on Wheels, Van Helsing, and more recently House of David (Amazon Prime Video) and My Life with the Walter Boys (Netflix).
